Cross Roads

Playing down the old game, i reached a fit where i had been,
The same old crossroad where i had never wanted to be seen,
Decked up my faith and i just flashed out my nerve
I walked down the same road, paces as fast i could serve
Unfolding the Wounded thoughts beneath the stars
Watching the shadows, bearing the old scars.

Years folded days, days folded minutes and this moment is a decade apart.
Watching eager faces, with eyes flashing in parts,
The rainy lunch, the dusky feast and the heavy alcoholic showers,
We would just sit in the corner and hear favourite tracks being showered.
D late night jig and
The Smokey hours,
The long rides and the pesky ire.
It all went down well, but sum where I felt
The winds are odd and the sail is to be held.
